GovBeacon provides structured data on federal procurement including agency award profiles, NAICS industry analytics, set-aside program statistics, and a glossary of government contracting terminology.

## Data Sources

All data is sourced from public federal procurement records:
- SAM.gov (System for Award Management) — contract opportunities and FPDS award data
- SBIR/STTR Awards Database — small business innovation research awards

Award statistics reflect contract actions recorded in FPDS. Dollar amounts represent obligated values at time of recording. Data is updated daily.
